The fabric used to make this purse is called ‘Passing Time’. A simple tree motif is used to represent summer on the surface, peek between the folds for cold wintery leafless trees.
This fabric is hand printed with water-based inks, folded and made into this unique purse in my studio in Scotland.
The base fabric is organic and has been handmade in a fair-trade co-operative in India. This same fabric is used to back and line the purse.
As this is an entirely handmade product (apart from the zip – obviously) some variations may exist in both the weave and the print, making each entirely unique.
Each purse is approximately 10cm x 21cm.
